Meet Evie!

Squad Foster Evie

How It Started

Evie joined the Dog Squad as a foster on Saturday November 4, 2023. Evie and her puppy friend were found wandering the highway as the temperatures dropped dangerously low. The compassion of a Good Samaritan brought them to safety, and the big hearts of our friends Courtany and Adam meant these pups wouldn't spend one more night in the cold, as they drove all the way to Spartanburg to secure the puppies.

Evie is an 11-week-old brindle pup who has eyes that you won’t be able to resist. She was examined by Dr. Schmitz at Five Forks Animal Hospital on Monday 11/6/23 where she had her first round of puppy vaccines (DA2PP, Bordetella, Leptospirosis) and is on track for her next set in three weeks. Tipping the scales at a snugly 15 lbs, Evie's health is thriving. With the rest of her vaccines on the horizon and spaying before adoption, she's getting all prepped for her forever home.

Evie is the epitome of love. She’s a snuggle enthusiast with the most endearing brown eyes and a heart-shaped nose, guaranteed to melt even the frostiest of hearts. And she's a quick learner too – potty training is a breeze with her, as she’ll let you know when it's time to go outside.

We're overflowing with gratitude to Kelly and Anthony for opening their home and fostering this brave little girl. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a furry bundle of love, Evie is waiting for her forever snuggle buddy. Could that be you? Let’s turn Evie’s journey into a happy ending with a loving family to call her own.
