Meet Squad Foster Winnie Kate, the 13-week-old lab mix puppy who joined Dog Squad on 10/24/23. She was hit by a car, causing her to be surrendered to Five Forks Animal Hospital. At just 15.8 lbs, this brave girl came in with lameness in both her hind limbs and was plagued with fleas. Despite her rough start, she's beginning her journey to recovery and got her bordetella vaccine and her first dose of DA2PP.

Sadly, our little Winnie broke her right rear femur. The fracture's location means a cast won't be possible. However, we are determined to get her back on her paws with strict kennel rest, top-notch medications, and a surgery planned with Dr. Morrison come Monday 10/30/23. This surgery will set us back by $3,800.
