This 8-9 year old sweetheart is looking for a calm, loving home where she can enjoy her golden years in peace and comfort. Allie came to Dog Squad under heartbreaking circumstances, but her resilience is nothing short of inspiring. Now thriving in her foster home, Allie is ready to find a forever family who will cherish her for the gentle, affectionate girl she is.
Allie is the perfect mix of easygoing and spunky, and she loves nothing more than soft beds, belly rubs, and being close to her people. She’s currently coexisting with other dogs in her foster home, but ideally, she’d love to be your one and only—a spoiled-only-dog lifestyle suits her perfectly! We do not recommend a home with cats.
Allie is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and ready to bring warmth, loyalty, and joy into her next chapter. Could that be with you?

Squad foster Allie went on a little shopping spree at The K9 Shop this week, and we loved every minute of it! Her sweet face and wagging tail always brighten our day.
Allie is thriving in her foster home, where her amazing foster mom handcrafts her meals every day—starting with Albright’s Raw as the base. It’s no wonder this girl is looking better and better every time we see her!
If you’ve been following Allie’s journey, you know she recently had four mast cell tumors removed. We finally got the histopathology report back, and here’s the best news ever:
✅ All tumors had clear margins
✅ No increased scary mitotic activity
✅ All tumors were low grade
✅ Recurrence is highly unlikely
In short? Allie is healthy and officially ready to find a forever family to love her through her golden years. She may be 8-9 years old, but she’s still got a whole lot of love (and spunk!) to give.
When Allie first came into our rescue, her foster mama Jeanna opened her heart and home without hesitation—committing to care for Allie during her initial weeks of healing. We are endlessly grateful. If Jeanna hadn’t stepped up, Allie might never have been given this second chance. Thank you, Jeanna, from the bottom of our hearts.
With time on our side, we began searching for Allie’s next foster home—and on May 31st, she met her new foster mom, Lynn. But before we introduced them, we made a quick stop at Double Dogs, where Allie put on a full charm offensive. She greeted everyone with her signature tail wags and whole-body wiggles. She knows how to work a room!
Since settling in, Allie has already made herself at home. She’s house trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash (check out her loose leash walking in the video!), and knows basic commands. While she enjoys the company of other dogs, she’s happiest being her human’s shadow—and last night, she curled up right between Lynn and her dog Starr.
Tomorrow, Allie heads back to Riverside Vet to have her staples removed. Lynn also suspects a possible UTI, so we’ll be culturing a urine sample to be safe.
If you’re wondering if Allie might be your perfect match, here’s what you should know:
✅ Dog friendly
✅ Kid friendly
✅ House trained
✅ Crate trained
✅ Lovebug extraordinaire
✅ Best co-pilot
Allie is proof that second chances are always worth it.
Our sweet squad foster Allie had a big surgery this week to remove four mast cell tumors from across her body. While mast cell tumors are cancerous, our vet is optimistic that Allie’s haven’t spread—and we’ll have a clearer picture once her biopsy results come back next week.
Right now, Allie is recovering comfortably in her foster home, being pampered like the absolute queen she is (as she should be!).
Allie is truly the whole package. She’s spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations and preventatives, crate and house trained, and interacts well with other dogs. At around 8–9 years old, she’s looking for a soft place to land—and a forever family to love her through her golden years.
Once she finishes healing, she’ll be ready to head home… could that be with you?
Squad Foster Allie is truly a miracle. After everything this girl has been through, it brings tears to our eyes to see her finally living the life she’s always deserved—wrapped in blankets like a burrito, tail wagging nonstop, playing with new friends, and soaking up love in her foster home.
Allie has four mast cell tumors that need to be surgically removed on May 21st, and the estimate from Riverside Vet is between $2,886.53 and $3,243.53.
If you’ve ever met Allie, or seen her tail wag, or watched her greet a stranger like they’ve been friends for years, you know she’s special.
She deserves this chance.
Please, if you’re able, make a donation toward her surgery. All donations are tax-deductible—and we mean it when we say that every single dollar counts.
Thank you for showing up for her the way she shows up for the world—with love, joy, and an open heart.
Squad Foster Allie is a certified good girl—and she proved it tonight!
Allie joined her foster mom at a Battle Buddies service dog training group, and y’all… she is flawless. Calm. Gentle. Loving. Total perfection.
The vet estimates Allie to be about 8–9 years old (not 11 like we first thought), and honestly? She is one of the easiest dogs we’ve ever met. Friendly with every human and pup she meets, she just wants to love and be loved. No drama, just gratitude and sweetness in dog form.
Come meet her next Wednesday, April 30th, at Bark in the Park with the Greenville Drive!
She’ll be there with some of her Squad friends, and we’d love to see meet her future forever family.
Seven days ago, Allie’s world was shattered.
Attacked by the three other dogs in her home, she was left with deep, painful wounds across her body. Her owner brought her to Fetch for emergency care—but never came back. After repeated calls went unanswered and eventually blocked, the heartbreaking truth set in: Allie had been abandoned.
She spent six days at the hospital, receiving the care she desperately needed. Her wounds are still healing, and her body carries the scars of the trauma she endured. But Allie? Her soul is pure gold. She is gentle. Trusting. Forgiving in a way only dogs know how to be.
Yesterday, Allie was finally discharged and placed into a loving foster home—and she is already thriving.
This is what rescue looks like.
This is what resilience looks like.
This is what a second chance looks like.
Welcome to freedom, sweet girl.
Welcome to the Squad, Allie.
We wish her welcome didn’t come under such heartbreaking circumstances.
On Friday, Allie was rushed to Fetch after being brutally attacked by three other dogs in her home. She didn’t fight back. She couldn’t. By the time she arrived at the hospital, her body was ravaged with deep puncture wounds. One of her ears was filleted and had to be sewn back together.
Allie is believed to be around 11 years old, though the vet team suspects she may be a little younger—closer to 8 or 9. She is spayed, heartworm negative, and the kind of dog who still greets you with a wagging tail and soft kisses, even after surviving something unthinkable.
After dropping her off for emergency care, her owner never came back.
No check-ins. No goodbye. Just… gone.
Multiple calls from the hospital went unanswered before the number was eventually blocked. Allie was officially abandoned at the ER.
On Tuesday, the medical director at Fetch called us directly. She pleaded for us to take her in. The shelter was the next stop. And for a senior dog with visible wounds and no one to fight for her, that would have been a death sentence.
We didn’t hesitate. We couldn’t.
No dog should endure what Allie has been through and then be tossed aside.
Thanks to your incredible support, Allie will be discharged tomorrow and will begin her recovery in a safe and loving foster home—under the care of a Fetch intern who refused to let her fall through the cracks.
But now we urgently need your help.
Allie’s hospital bill has reached $4,487.48, and as a nonprofit that operates solely on donations, we can’t do this without you. Two weeks ago, we were victims of a donation scam that wiped out our funds, making it even harder to give dogs like Allie the help they deserve.
Every donation is tax-deductible, and every single dollar will go toward Allie’s care. No amount is too small to make a difference—because together, we are her second chance.
